Here are simple e-commerce examples using ExpressionEngine and pMachine Pro. PayPal is used to provide a simple shopping cart integrated into the examples. In the Knomad example, if you look in the side bar there is also an example of subscriptions using PayPal.

Step 1:

Download the PayPal Shopping Cart Manual PDF document. This is an excellent guide and contains all the information you need to integrate your site with the PayPal shopping cart.

Step 2:

Go to PayPal Shopping Cart and register with PayPal for a shopping cart.

Step 3:

  • ExpressionEngine: Download the ExpressionEngine E-commerce PDF document I created to guide you through the process of integrating the PayPal shopping cart with ExpressionEngine.
  • pMachine Pro: Download the pMachine Pro E-commerce PDF document I created to guide you through the process of integrating the PayPal shopping cart with pMachine Pro.

I created the documents above quite quickly tonight and hope they are complete enough to make the integration quite easy. If you experience difficulty following either of the examples, please make a comment here and I'll try to help out.

You can take a look at ExpressionEngine examples in action at:

IF YOU COMPLETE THE CHECKOUT YOU WILL HAVE BOUGHT A BOOK. IF YOU COMPLETE THE SUBSCRIPTION YOU WILL HAVE SUBSCRIBED TO NOTHING AND PAY FOR NOTHING. THESE ARE LIVE EXAMPLES. THAT BEING SAID, WE HOPE YOU FIND THESE EXAMPLES USEFUL.
